Do we ever stop learning?

I don’t mean like physics or literature.

I mean life lessons like success and failure and loss and joy.

Whenever something goes really well or really wrong, one of my good friend’s and I punch out the phrase, “Good learning!”.

Sometimes when it’s a truly painful lesson we’ll sigh in frustration, “Enough learning!”.

what I’ve learnt from… is a record of and tribute to all the lessons we learn along the way. Some of them funny, some of them painful, some of them on repeat. (Why? Why do we keep stuffing that one thing up?!)

A little about me

Hi there!

I’m Willy Russo, a millennial baby born in the cane fields of North Queensland, Australia.

My career has traversed professional sports marketing, aged care, heavy industry recruitment, mentoring visual artists and now media.

The thread through it all is a constant curiosity and passion for people.

I now live in Eora/Sydney, Australia and work as a radio producer.

My content to date includes articles for The Huffington Post, The Collective Hub Magazine, a book Couldn’t Wouldn’t Didn’t , a podcast on art the Willy Russo podcast and a stint hosting breakfast radio for 2ser 107.3FM.

There was even a bumper sticker - I WAKE UP WITH WILLY, too funny!
